The ribbed texture is what sold me, and it looks even better in person than I expected. It's stretchy enough to pull down over my ears on cold morning walks but doesn't slip around. For the price, this is a steal.
The ribbed texture makes this beanie look way more expensive than it was, and the wool blend keeps my ears warm without that scratchy itch cheaper hats have. It's 10 inches long so it actually covers my whole head instead of sliding up.
Wore this on a windy 20-degree walk and my ears stayed warm the whole time. The 30% wool blend doesn't itch my forehead like my old acrylic beanie did.
