The cotton blend is thicker than I expected for the price, and after a few washes it hasn't pilled or shrunk at all. The two pockets are deep enough to actually hold my phone and keys, which is rare. It's become my default throw-on hoodie for cool mornings.
The zip-up front makes it easy to layer, and the 27-inch length hits perfectly at my hips. Cotton-polyester blend feels soft and not too heavy.
The cotton blend is thick enough to actually block wind but it doesn't feel heavy on. I've worn it zipped all the way up on morning walks and the 27" length covers my hips, which is rare for my height.
