The 65/35 poly-cotton blend is surprisingly soft for a flannel, and it hasn't shrunk after three washes. I'm 5'6" and the 29-inch length hits right at my hips, so it works untucked over leggings. Wore it apple picking last weekend and it kept me warm without feeling bulky.
